- Must possess knowledge and experience in agriculture (animal/plant science, crop production, etc.)
- Must possess knowledge of FFA and enthusiasm for assisting with FFA activities.
- Must possess basic computer and clerical skills.
- Must have positive attitude towards students, teachers, staff, and parents.
- Prior experience working with high school students desired.
- Must be able to push, pull, or lift weights of up to 30 pounds.
- Must be proficient in the use of the English language, both verbal and written.
- Maintain punctual and regular attendance.
- Assists with learning activities within the classroom, animal lab, and land lab.
- Assists with the testing of students.
- Assists with classroom, animal lab, and land lab projects.
- Types and reproduces classroom materials.
- Assists with clerical duties involving the FFA (rosters, computer assistance to students working with SAE records, etc.).
- Assists with inventory and accounting procedures of classroom, animal lab, and land lab equipment.
- Assists students and teachers in preparation for fairs, as well as local, state and national competitions.
- Maintain confidentiality of information regarding students, staff, parents and school issues.
- Provide a welcoming atmosphere for students, staff, parents and community.
- Perform responsibilities in an ethical and professional manner.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
