    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    1. Responsible for providing support to the instructional program with specific responsibilities for installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining computer hardware and peripheral equipment; diagnosing and repairing hardware
    2. Manages, maintains and coordinates technology-based resources, ensuring the effective delivery and support of those resources to the students, school staff and the community
    3. Provide technical support to site administrators; and resolving school site operational issues
    4. Supervise assigned services and activities; overseeing assigned personnel; providing information to others; and scheduling work assignments within established timeframes and standards
    5. Communicates with administrators, personnel, and outside organizations for the purpose of coordinating activities, resolving issues and conflicts, and exchanging information related to computer hardware.
    6. Coordinates repair work schedules with school and district office personnel for the purpose of minimizing disruption of services and/or inconvenience
    7. Diagnoses equipment failures for the purpose of identifying needed repairs and/or ensuring equipment is in proper working order
    8. Installs computer hardware, peripherals, and application software (e.g. adjusting, repairing, replacing parts, etc.) for the purpose of maintaining overall district operations
    9. Maintains manual and electronic documents, files, and records (e.g. preventive maintenance, purchases, inspections, repair logs, etc.) for the purpose of documenting activities, conveying information, and/or providing an up-to-date reference and audit trail
    10. Maintains workstation functionality (e.g. install patches and/or upgrades to various devices, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring availability of desktops/laptops/chromebooks for all users
    11. Manages department projects and/or activities for the purpose of coordinating activities and ensuring compliance with established financial and/or administrative requirements
    12. Orders parts for the purpose of maintaining inventory and ensuring availability of items as needed.
    13. Oversees repair and upgrades of computers, peripherals, and electronic equipment (e.g. projectors, document cameras, laptops, desktops, wireless display, etc.) for the purpose of maintaining equipment in a safe and functional operating condition
    14. Performs personnel administrative functions (e.g. hiring, training, supervising, evaluating, etc.) for the purpose of maintaining adequate staffing, enhancing productivity of personnel, and ensuring department/program outcomes are achieved.
    15. Maintain confidentiality of information regarding students, staff, parents and school issues
    16. Provide a welcoming atmosphere for students, staff, parents and community
    17. Perform responsibilities in an ethical and professional manner
    18. Maintain punctual and regular attendance
    19. Perform other related duties as assigned
    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

    Education / Certificate
    1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science or related field from an accredited college/university preferred or equivalent expertise
    2. Must have and maintain a valid IVP Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card

    Experience
    1. Minimum of five (5) years of experience (combined) in management of computer networks, information and telecommunications systems
    2. Must have training and experience in the use and support of existing network computer systems, telecommunications and electronic systems
    3. Work experience in primary/secondary education beneficial

    Communication Skills
    1. Possess excellent communication skills, be professional, proactive, and maintain confidentiality
    2. Bilingual communication is beneficial

    Computer Skills
    1. Microsoft Windows Server & Active Directory Environments
    2. Google Apps for Education
    3. Microsoft SQL Server
    4. Microsoft Windows Office Suite
