Until Filled   Additional Information: - Will work directly with large amounts of structured and unstructured data from different sources to create meaningful analyses, discover insights and identify opportunities for various departments within the district
- Modeling and Deployment: Design, develop and deploy innovative models. Provide insights from predictive statistical modeling activities
- Design models, algorithms and visualizations that help distill insights from huge volumes of chaotic data
- Turning data into critical information and knowledge that can be used to make sound and efficient organizational decisions
- Consult with district leadership and subject matter experts to understand district needs and operations, goals and objectives and key drivers for performance
- Will apply statistical theory and methods to collect, interpret and summarize data as well as make predictions and recommend actions based on data
- Identifies data patterns and trends
- Provides leadership and direction to school administrators and other departments on best practices and procedures
- Interacts with parents, outside agencies, businesses, and the community to enhance understanding of District initiatives and priorities to elicit support and assistance
- Keeps well informed about current trends and best practices in areas of responsibility
- Represents, consistently, the District in a positive and professional manner
- Maintains confidentiality of information regarding students, staff, parents and school issues
- Provides a welcoming atmosphere in all areas of responsibility
- Performs responsibilities in an ethical and professional manner
- Maintains punctual and regular attendance
- Performs other duties as assigned

Education / Certificate 1. Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics or related field required. Master’s degree preferred 2. Obtain and maintain a valid IVP Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card (FPCC) Experience 1. Minimum two years of progressively complex data science or analytics experience 2. Data analytics, user facing dashboard design 3. Analysis, reporting, visualization - reports, dash boarding 4. Working with key stakeholders - user/system requirements to specifications Communication Skills 1.Strong writing, literacy, and communication skills; uses effective communication strategies to interact with a variety of audiences 2. Bilingual communication is beneficial Computer Skills 1. Knowledge of Google Suite 2. Technical experience with Excel and PowerPoint 3. Strong understanding of data analytics methods and tools like R Programming, Python and SQL 4.
