    JOB DESCRIPTION: Coordinator

    TITLE: Operations Coordinator FTE: 1.0

    FLSA STATUS: Exempt

    WORK CALENDAR: 260-262 days

    COMPENSATION: Classified Exempt Compensation Guide (Starting Salary: $54,805)

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    1. Manage and maintain facility requests, districtwide

    2. Coordinates billing for facility usage

    3. Enters purchase orders for operations department and maintenance supervisors at each site including bond projects and new construction

    4. Assists with bond and special projects

    5. Maintains appropriate supplies and certification for maintenance and custodial

    6. Manage and maintain all account users in SchoolDude

    7. Assists and maintain all account users in our security systems including cameras and badge access

    8. Creates schedules for access control for sites

    9. Assists with county reports

    10. Coordinate with outside vendors to provide services to the district office

    11. Creates maintenance work orders as needed for the district office

    12. Work with other departments to ensure certain projects are accomplished

    13. Organize, coordinate and schedule a variety of office activities to assist administrators in the department with tasks, prepare and accurately maintain a variety of reports, records, and files relating to maintenance, operations, and activities

    14. Performs tasks related to construction/renovation management, maintenance work control, in addition to numerous coordination activities supporting all aspects of operations

    15. Ability to quickly analyze and resolve specific problems

    16. Provide information concerning school policies, procedures, actions, activities, and schedules as appropriate

    17. Handles a variety of correspondence, reports, and other materials for the administrative office pertaining to parents, students, and staff; maintains confidentiality of information

    18. Maintains appropriate files as required

    19. Orders necessary supplies and inputs purchase requisitions

    20. Prepares a variety of fiscal and statistical reports

    21. Handles routine correspondence

    22. Participates in local meetings or workshops when requested

    23. Maintain confidentiality of information regarding students, staff, parents and school issues

    24. Provide a welcoming atmosphere for students, staff, parents and community

    25. Perform responsibilities in an ethical and professional manner

    26. Maintain punctual and regular attendance

    27. Perform other related duties as assigned



    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

    To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The qualifications for this job description are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required

    Education / Certificate

    1. Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent

    2. Must have and maintain a valid IVP Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card

    Experience

    1. Minimum three years of progressive secretarial experience

    2. Superior time management and organizational skills

    3. Ability to work well with others and with minimal supervision

    4. Must be 21 years of age or older upon hire

    Communication Skills

    1. Strong writing, literacy and communication skills; uses effective communication strategies to interact with a variety of audiences

    2. Must possess ability to work cooperatively with parents, students, administrators, faculty, staff and general public

    3. Bilingual communication is beneficial

    Computer/Technology Skills

    1. Must possess a thorough knowledge in the use of office machines, computers, and Microsoft Office

    2. Knowledge of Google Suite

    3. Knowledge of Visions or SchoolDude is beneficial
