Supports the district’s retention and recruitment initiatives (i.e. job fairs, job advertisements, marketing materials etc.)
Contacting potential candidates, scheduling interviews and assisting the HR department
Work closely with schools and departments to determine hiring needs
Gather candidate and employee feedback about the onboarding and offboarding process
Fielding phone calls and emails appropriately
Manage public records requests by collecting and distributing information for the requests
Provides general information and education concerning benefits programs
Creates/maintains files related to employee benefits
Runs reports and assists with billing as requested
Keeps well informed about current trends and best practices in areas of responsibility
Represents consistently the District in a positive and professional manner
Provides a welcoming atmosphere in all areas of responsibility
Maintain confidentiality of information regarding students, staff, parents and school issues
Provide a welcoming atmosphere for students, staff, parents and community
Perform responsibilities in an ethical and professional manner
Maintain punctual and regular attendance
Perform other related duties as assigned

TITLE: HR Clerk FTE: 1.0 FLSA STATUS: Non Exempt HOURS PER DAY: 8 WORK CALENDAR: 261 days COMPENSATION: Grade C ($16.23/hour) |

Education / Certificate 2. Must have and maintain a valid IVP Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card Experience 1. Minimum two years of clerical experience preferred 2. Experience in recruitment and marketing experience preferred 3. Superior time management and organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines 4. Ability to work well with others and with minimal supervision Communication Skills 1. Strong verbal and written communication skills 2. Solid organizational skills 3. Proficient public speaking abilities are an asset 4. Bilingual communication is beneficial Computer Skills 1. Knowledge of Google Suite 2. Knowledge of Microsoft Office
