Organizes and supervises the work flow of the department(s)
To perform a wide variety of clerical and administrative assistant duties for the department(s)
Assist with purchasing including ordering, filing, quotes and bids
Assist with data entry
Answers phone, takes and relays messages,and responds to inquiries from parents, students, and school personnel
Attends various meetings as required by the District to to ensure continuing professional development and legal compliance
Assist with travel for the department(s)
Assist with events and meetings
Handles a variety of correspondence, reports, and other materials pertaining to parents, students, and staff; maintains confidentiality of information
Maintains appropriate files as required
Performs a variety of clerical duties in providing assistance to the team
Orders necessary supplies and inputs purchase requisitions
Prepares a variety of fiscal and statistical reports
Handles routine correspondence
Maintain confidentiality of information regarding students, staff, parents and school issues
Provide a welcoming atmosphere for students, staff, parents and community
Perform responsibilities in an ethical and professional manner
Maintain punctual and regular attendance
Perform other related duties as assigned

Education / Certificate 1. Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, supplemented by appropriate business courses and/or workshops to enhance skills. 2. Must have and maintain a valid IVP Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card Experience 1. Must possess a minimum of three years secretarial experience, preferably working in a school district setting. 2. Must possess an ability to deal effectively with matters of confidentiality. 3. Must possess a pleasant personality and telephone manner. 4. Must possess an ability to work cooperatively with the general public. 5. Must possess a loyalty to the school district and its philosophy. 6. Must be organized and able to work independently. Communication Skills 1. Excellent written and oral communication skills. 2. Must possess ability to work cooperatively with parents, students, administrators, faculty, Staff and general public 3. Bilingual communication is beneficial Computer Skills 1. Knowledge of Google Suites 2. Knowledge of Microsoft Office
