Until Filled - To plan and direct the operations of the high school bookstores performing work under general direction, while carrying out school policies and procedures and to comply with rules and regulations set forth by the Uniform System of Financial Records.
- Responsible for ordering, receiving, identifying, issuing, collecting, and taking inventory of all textbooks and workbooks.
- Keeps accurate records and ledgers and is responsible for all receipts and disbursements of monies from student activity and auxiliary funds.
- Prepares summaries and reports on daily, monthly, and annual basis or as required.
- Prepares daily bank deposits.
- Issues all checks from student activity and auxiliary operations accounts, as required.
- Issues and accounts for all cash boxes needed for extra-curricular activities and fundraising projects.
- Accounts for purchase orders as required and troubleshoots discrepancies with vendors and resolves disputes in a timely manner.
- Assists in the organization and supervision of student registration and check-out procedures as well as other yearly activities.
- Purchases, receives, stores, sells, and accounts for student school supplies; maintains records of student loans, grants, and scholarships; handles and accounts for the sales for such items as yearbooks, photos, caps/gowns, rings, and game tickets; stores and handles fund-raising project supplies for various organizations, maintains and issues parking stickers.
- Prepares records for audit.
- Reconciles student activities account balances and tracks progress of fundraisers.
- Receives and deposits extracurricular tax credit funds.
- Orders necessary supplies.
- Receives and screens incoming students
- Maintains all student health files and daily logs
- Files reports of suspected abuse/neglect, if initial contact person
- Monitors immunization status of current and new students for compliance with Arizona state law
- Collects immunization and hearing data for state mandated reports
- Maintains medical inventory and utilizes supplies in a cost-effective manner
- Completes student and employee accident reports and health insurance forms
- Administers first aid in accordance with established first aid procedures
- Maintain cleanliness of the Health Center
- Administers Hearing and Vision Screening
- Dispense over-the-counter and prescription medication according to physician's orders
- Maintain confidentiality of information regarding students, staff, parents and school issues
- Provide a welcoming atmosphere for students, staff, parents and community
- Perform responsibilities in an ethical and professional manner
- Maintain punctual and regular attendance
- Prepares a variety of fiscal and statistical reports as requested.
- Relieves and assists in other office areas as needed.

Education / Certificate 1. Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and two years of experience in bookkeeping or sales preferred 2. Must have and maintain a valid IVP Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card 3. Must obtain and maintain CPR and first aid certification. A copy must be on file in HR 5. Must obtain and maintain a Hearing Screening Certificate. A copy must be on file in HR Experience 1. Must possess the ability to operate a cash register, calculator, and computer; a working knowledge of bookkeeping procedures 2. Must be organized and able to work independently. 3. Must possess an ability to deal effectively with matters of confidentiality. 4. Must possess a pleasant personality and telephone manner. 5.
