    WORK CALENDAR: 208 days

    COMPENSATION: Classified Non Exempt Compensation Guide (Starting at $18.96)

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    1. Assist with library services including assisting patrons in finding resources and checking materials in and out

    2. Management of chromebook inventory

    3. Management of part inventory

    4. Management of peripheral inventory

    5. Distribution of student devices

    6. Support as needed for the distribution of staff devices

    7. Assist staff with level I troubleshooting

    8. Assist students with troubleshooting devices

    9. Acts as an on-site help desk to support the Network Technician

    10. Maintain accurate records of library transactions

    11. Maintain library collection by cleaning, reshelving and repairing books

    12. Operate a variety of library office equipment including copy machine(s), laminator, desktop computer and binding machine, etc

    13. Provide reliable and timely copy service, lamination, and binding services

    14. Maintain supplies library uses and provides for patrons as well as supplies/materials/repairs for library copy service equipment

    15. Manage the library when librarian/media specialist is working with students and teachers in classrooms

    16. Assist the librarian/media specialist in promoting library resources

    17. Assist the librarian/media specialist in completing inventory

    18. Provide training in equipment operation as needed

    19. Provide a positive, welcoming atmosphere for students, staff, parents and community

    20. Maintain confidentiality of information regarding students, staff, parents and school issues

    21. Perform responsibilities in an ethical and professional manner

    22. Maintain punctual and regular attendance

    23. Perform other duties as assigned

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

    Education / Certificate

    1. Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent

    2. Must have and maintain a valid IVP Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card

    Experience

    1. Experience in a customer support role

    2. Must possess an ability to deal effectively with matters of confidentiality

    3. Must be organized and able to work independently

    4. Must possess an ability to work cooperatively with the general public

    5. Must be 21 years of age or older upon hire

    Communication Skills

    1. Must possess excellent communication, verbal and written skills

    2. Must possess the ability to work cooperatively with parents, students, administrators, faculty, staff, and the general public


    Computer Skills

    1. Must possess knowledge of operation of standard office and media center equipment including computers, printers and related software

    2. Tech savvy with some working knowledge of chromebooks
