Until Filled   Additional Information: Maintain compliance with ARS rules and regulations and USFR guidelines pertaining to purchasing
Manage purchasing card program. Reconcile, maintain records, validate purchases, etc.
Maintain continuous internal program to safeguard against over expenditure of any purchasing card purchases
Answer phones, and respond to inquiries from public, staff and vendors
Assist with preparing, placing orders, and distribution of purchase orders to vendors and warehouse
Assist with revising purchase orders approved by Procurement Coordinator and/or Finance Manager
Provide problem-solving services to end-users, receiving, and accounting departments
Assist in obtaining written quotes for all sites
Assist Warehouse with purchase order issues – tracking, returns, etc.
Perform training to end-users on various p-card processes and procedures
Establish and maintain good rapport with employees, community members and vendors
Research specifications, costs and descriptions of materials and supplies; preparing and making oral written presentations; and communication, interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with assigned staff, coworkers, supervisor, the general public, etc. sufficient to exchange or convey information and to receive work direction
Represents consistently the District in a positive and professional manner
Maintains confidentiality of information regarding students, staff, parents and school issues
Provides a welcoming atmosphere for students, staff, parents and community
Performs responsibilities in an ethical and professional manner
Maintains punctual and regular attendance
Performs other related duties as assigned
Knowledge of Google Suites
Knowledge of computerized accounting software
Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
Knowledge of Visions software preferred
Use of standard business equipment

Education / Certificate 1. High School Diploma or equivalent required 2. Must have and maintain a valid IVP Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card Experience 1. Previous experience in purchasing or similar duties. 2. Prior experience in government accounting is preferred. 3. Knowledge of the Arizona Procurement Code or AZ School District Procurement Rules and Regulations 4. Business math concepts Communication Skills 1. Excellent written and oral communication skills 2.
